Have you ever watched Crossroads on CMT before? If not, you should. Right now. Do it!
I have seen a few of them, and they are all excellent. See, what they do is team up a couple of unlikely stars to sing together. For instance, Dolly Parton & Mellisa Etheridge, or John Mayer & Brad Paisley, or Hank Williams Jr. & Kid Rock. I just finished watching Martina McBride(hot) & Pat Benatar. It was awesome. I was really surprised at how little Pats voice has changed over the years. It was extremely recognizable as she belted out the tunes to some of her songs and some of Martina’s. They did an acoustic version of [i]We Belong[/i] and it was outstanding.
Now if CMT would remove head from sphincter – and cell CDs of the shows, all would be right in the world. I also saw the John Mayer/Brad Paisley show – and it too was quite note worthy.

This Friday, Willie Nelson & Sheryl Crow will be together, so I’m not going to miss that one either.
