Little Rock City :: redux ::

So I decided today to revisit Little Rock City, and take some more film with me and go to town. Well, as you may (or may not) remember from the original post, I was pretty taken with the place. Well I still am.

When Litsa and i first went there, we didn’t even scratch the surface of the massive footprint this place holds along the hillside. I would say we covered maybe 25% of it, and I think this last time today, I covered maybe another 25%. It’s immense. I took my Leonardo Pinhole camera with me today, and that made for a lot of hurry up and wait. The pinhole is neat though, but with an affective aperture of f/320, it takes a bit of time to make exposures. I even pushed my film to 400, and still hit 8 minute exposures for 25% of the images I shot today. Averaging 4.5 minute exposures. Which, unfortunately, gave the equally massive mosquito population ample time to really piss me off!

I just ordered some chemicals from B & H Photo to develop this film i just shot, so in the next couple of weeks you will see the fruits of my labor. Which, hopefully will be something of use – and not just a bunch of wasted time and film. Since, you really never know what you’re gonna get from a pinhole camera.  I really should make a ground glass adapter for that thing….
