New OS, new mouse, new fun….

I just upgraded to Tiger (OS X 10.4), and I like it! The built-in tools are sweet and the overall the OS is awesome. I had forgotten how much I like this OS and how much it makes Windows suck.

I also bought a small USB wireless mouse from TigerDirect, and it’s nice. The new Logitech VX Revolution is a beauty, and its easy to install and use. I almost wish I hadn’t gotten such a good deal on it (30 bucks after rebate for a what Staples is selling for $70), because now I want to get the same model in the desktop (MX Revolution) version for my desktop. Oh well, that won’t happen – but I can dare to dream. I don’t need to spend 100 bucks on a mouse. But alas I don’t, it too has a rebate! w00t! w00t! meh. I don’t think so.

Adium Chat Client for OS XI started using Adium as my chat client, and it’s pretty nice too. It allows you to have all your chat apps logged in on a single client, and it’s easy to use. It’s like Gaim on Linux/Windows but a bit nicer. The little guy even flaps at you when you get a message.

It’s nice too, I have a low cost decent lappy to sit at the TV and fiddle with while I watch – it doesn’t get any better than this.
