Alas; I have found my way home….

Brandon's Mustang GTThe prodigal son returns. Maybe a tad on the dramatical side, but so what. Texas seems pretty cool – granted I spent a whole 3 days there, and never ventured beyond Dallas, and only touched a bit there, but I like it. It’s warm, flat, and quite populated. Dallas is a nice city; I was/am surprised at how clean it is. In fact I was taken by the fact that they decorate their freeway overpass supports on the way into Dallas, now I don’t know if we were on the 75, 121 or what – but, it looked nice – and there was workin’ a do. Cranes dotted the skyline and there was a fair bit of construction underway all over the city.

Naturally I can’t talk about my trip without expounding on how damned much fun it was driving around in his Mustang! This thing has balls of steel, and many more ponies than average run-of-the-mill GT. I am quite certain that had we done the $20 bill test, Brandon would have kept it. This thing slams you in the seat, no nudging, putting, or any other non-forceful verbiage adequately describes the power exerted by the engine unto you body. hehehehehehehe is about all I have to say about that.

Blurry DogI was a little disappointed I didn’t get to see any herds of Tarantula migrating or anything else goony like that – and it totally slipped my mind to do the ultra touristy thing and go to the Texas Book Depository while we were in Dallas at the Art Museum. I didn’t take many pictures while I was there either – didn’t really get in the mood to. We were just hangin’ out, relaxing doing the guy thing. We did go to see Superbad though – and OMFG! It’s a riot! Go see this movie; I haven’t laughed that hard in a movie in a long time.

Any way, I hope it’s not another 6 years before we get together again – I just might have to go back…..
